Q. What are the effects of hot springs?

Our hot spring baths are a blend of two different types of spring water. One is a reddish-brown spring from Jigokudani (Hell Valley) with a high iron content. The other is a naturally flowing spring with a source temperature of 98 degrees Celsius that contains numerous minerals, including sulfur. The blend of these two springs creates a very soft texture, and the water is mildly acidic and gentle on the skin, as recommended by Kao Biore. After bathing, your skin will feel smooth, and you may even feel as if your skin has been rejuvenated.
Q. Is there a sauna?
A private sauna opened in 2021. It features a Finnish sauna with a cold plunge pool, natural hot springs, and a relaxation area. There is also a low-temperature sauna called a steam bath at the outdoor bathhouse, No. 9 Oyu.
Q. Do you have private baths or family baths?
Our hotel has private baths equipped with saunas, which can also be used as family baths. We also offer guest rooms with private baths, including the "Yoimachi Suite" with an open-air bath and the "Semi-Suite Yu" with a semi-open-air bath.
Q. I'd like to go on a tour of the public hot springs.
Yes, all guests staying at our hotel can enjoy visiting the public baths. We offer a "Bath Hopping Pass," which includes a master key to all nine public baths in Shibu Onsen, allowing you to visit all nine.
Q. What are the operating hours for the large public bath inside the hotel?
Our large public bath is cleaned between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, 7:00 PM and 7:30 PM, and 12:00 AM and 1:00 AM. It is available for use at all other times. Please note that there may be occasional cleaning outside of these hours, so please inquire for details.
Q. Is it possible to use the baths for a day trip?
Yes, you can use it. The price is 1500 yen (tax included) per adult and 800 yen (tax included) per elementary school student. Bath towels and face towels are also provided, so please rest assured.
Our opening hours are 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. However, these hours may change depending on the day due to cleaning or other closures, so please inquire in advance.
