Sakaeya's Initiatives

Sakaeya MG (Management Game) Training

Our company offers a training program called MG (Management Game), which allows participants to learn about business management while having fun.
Through this training, everyone, including new employees, learns about what management is and what profit is, and we aim to become a hotel where everyone is involved in sales and management.
This training program is open to business owners and employees from other companies as well.

Training Schedule Information

Gathering of Shinshu Postcard Enthusiasts

Reflecting quietly on your daily actions and writing postcards to people you are connected to each day is a wonderful practice that contributes to your personal growth. At Sakaeya, our staff members themselves practice "writing postcards." At the same time, we regularly hold "The Gathering of Shinshu Postcard Enthusiasts," a meeting where many such "postcard enthusiasts" come together.

Sakaeya Cleaning Study Group

At Sakaeya, all staff members participate in cleaning the toilets. By wholeheartedly engaging in toilet cleaning, we can gain various insights. Inspired by the "Learning Through Cleaning" program of the NPO Japan Beautification Association, which was the impetus for starting this initiative, we also regularly hold the "Sakaeya Cleaning Learning Session." If you are interested, please join us.

Year-end fundraising campaign

At the end of the year, I like to spend time helping others as a way of giving back for all the support I've received. What I realize through fundraising is that it's not that we're doing anything for others, but rather that we're receiving kindness from them. I'm grateful that I can end each year with such kind feelings.

This year, we made donations to those affected by Typhoon Hagibis (Typhoon 19).
The Shibu Onsen area as a whole also participated in this effort, and together we donated 190,614 yen to the Nagano Prefecture branch of the Japanese Red Cross Society as relief funds for Typhoon Hagibis (Typhoon 19) in 2019.

Thanks to the cooperation of those who donated in Shizuoka, Sakaeya was able to send a total of 99,230 yen.
