Regarding transportation and parking
Q. Is there a parking lot?
There is a private parking lot just before our hotel. Please park your vehicle using the "Sakaeya P" sign as a landmark before coming to the hotel. *Please note that large vehicles such as minibuses and campervans cannot enter the Shibu Onsen area, so we will direct you to a paid parking lot in Shibu Onsen. (We apologize, but parking fees will be the responsibility of the guest.)
Q. I'd like to go by motorcycle. Is there a parking area for motorcycles?
Yes, we do. For motorcycles, we ask that you park in the designated parking area in front of the entrance or just before the building. Please note that neither the parking area nor the area in front of the entrance is covered. We can lend you a seat cover.
Q. Can I call a taxi?
Yes, please do so. If there is availability, we can usually arrange it in about 5 minutes. However, on Sundays, long weekends, and during peak seasons, same-day reservations may not be possible, so we recommend making your reservation the day before.
Q. Are studded tires better for winter?
During the winter season (late November to late March), we kindly request that guests arriving by car use snow tires.
Q. Is there a shuttle service from Yudanaka Station?
Yes, we have that available. It is by reservation only, and the free times are 14:40, 16:20, and 17:40. For times around 15:00, there is a regular bus service, so we ask that you use that instead. For other times, or for transportation to and from the Snow Monkey Park, it is available for 500 yen per person one way. Please feel free to contact us for more information.
