At Shunran no Yado Sakaeya, we ask our guests about any food allergies. If you inform us in advance, we will substitute the ingredients that cause allergies in your meal. We understand that food is one of the joys of travel. We will do our best to accommodate your needs so that everyone can enjoy their meals. Please do not hesitate to let us know.
Q. What about meals for elementary school children?
At our restaurant, meals for elementary school children are generally prepared by modifying several items from the adult menu to suit children's tastes. We can also provide a one-plate meal, similar to a children's lunch, upon request. Please let us know in advance if you would like this option.
Q. What kind of meals do you feed your young children?
For toddlers, we offer a special one-plate meal prepared by our culinary staff, along with a child-sized steak and dessert. Everything is handmade by our culinary staff, so you can rest assured that it's safe for your child to eat.
Q. Do you have baby food?
Yes, we do. We also offer baby food. A breakfast and dinner set costs 3000 yen (excluding tax). Baby food is an important meal that helps determine your child's taste preferences, so please let us know your preferences when making your reservation or when you call to confirm: ○ the consistency of the porridge ○ the level of seasoning ○ the softness of the vegetables, etc.
Q. Is the meal a buffet?
No, both breakfast and dinner are prepared individually for each guest. We use plenty of seasonal ingredients from Shinshu. Please enjoy the taste, aroma, and presentation of each dish.
Q. We booked two rooms. Can we eat meals together?
Yes, you can dine together. At our hotel, we generally arrange for guests in the same group to dine together, even if their rooms are separate or if there are multiple rooms in the group, so please rest assured. If you have made reservations under different names for the group representatives, please contact the hotel. We will make arrangements for your dining location.
Q. We have to leave early and I won't be able to eat breakfast...
Please rest assured. At Sakaeya, we offer rice ball bento boxes instead of breakfast for guests who have an early departure. If you would like to use this service, please let us know by check-in time on the day of your arrival. (If the parking area is congested, we will move your car to a more convenient location, so please inform our vehicle staff.) *In this case, payment for accommodation and other charges will be made after dinner.
