Snow Monkey Town!
One of the Shibu Hot Spring area’s particularities is that this is the only place in the world where you can see Monkeys having a bath! There are buses that go to the Park’s entrance, which is about a five minutes bus ride from our hotel. However be aware that you will have to walk for at least 20 minutes inside the park to reach the hot spring where the monkeys swim.
Winter
And in winter you can also go skiing in the biggest ski park in Japan.“Shiga Kogen Ski Resort”is only a 20 minute drive from our hotel.
